Channel 7 Helicopter has crash landed in Baskerville - "Helicopter Down, Helicopter Down" from Midland FRS - All crew are out of Helicopter.

Confirmed - Helicopter from Channel 7 has crash landed near Baskerville. All crew are out, Helicopter turbine is still operational, crews applying foam (No fire yet) behind shelter due to rotor blade danger.

The Channel Ten news helicopter has crashed in Baskerville, east of Perth this morning.

The chopper is understood to have come down carrying a pilot and a reporter on Weir Road.

They have left the wreckage and are not understood to be seriously injured.

Fire crews and St John Ambulance are heading to the scene.
The east of Weir Road, near Abraham Close has been closed.
