The Barbagallo guys are Volunteers, lately they have been running ads in gumtree for interested people to help out so the motorplex people are probably the same.

Sorry in advanced for reviving a dead post ,
I work as a vollie at the motorplex for speedway meetings so can tell you that the crash crews here are made up from vollies from various BFB's and a couple of VFRS brigades. The same guys are also involved in the drag meetings as well .
