large fire in gosnells/southern river atm i can see the flames from my backyard feel sorry for the crews as its soo windy outside

heard on the news that theres a rather large fire at wawrick open space using helitacs.

i think joondalup and malaga 2.4s are ther,daglish 1st,claremont,malaga and a few others but cant remember.on news they said they are using 4 helitacs and also it was deliberatley lit in 3 spots.

Just a small correction Chris the fire is at Carine Open Space not Warwick they are close to each other tho.

Osborne Park, and Wanneroo Fire Support were there supporting the copters. Wanneroo SES and Stirling SES provided ground crew for road blocks and keeping the area clear.

Fire in carine once again giving the boys problems. Just gone to 3rd alarm and helitacs been requested.

upgraded to 4th alarm and require a 2nd DM

Having heaps of probs with onlookers getting aggressive when asked to get out of the way. Police and SES have been requested to attend to assist with rubberneckers

Just to add to the NoR fires, Quinns LT2 have turned out to a fire. DEC are sending water bombers. The incident seems to be at Pinjar. Two Rocks and Wanneroo appliances are being requested to attend.

Edit - now 3rd alarm.
