Good to see the cobwebs arent growing with the cooler weather.

Heard FIO book off late this arvo. Said that he wasnt too sure of ignition but said it was most likely to be from a cigarette

Another good reason why not to smoke. And good reason to fine anyone a shed load who does and tosses the butt out the car window! Apart from the fact that that's littering.

It wasnt a cigarette.

Def would have been an electrical fault like the article says, as chris said, me n him know the people, and where it started etc etc.

Def not cigarette.

Very unfortunate

Freo 1st and 2nd just called out to building collapse in sth terrace.

Hope not a big one especially the amount of people that hang round there

Freo 1st 66 definatly building collapse ( with panic in his voice )

2nd alarm rescue, 1 person released being worked on by ambulance

3 story tilt slab partially collapsed approx 100 x 100 m

1014: update to 6AR : 1st floor collapsed bringing roof down as well. Only 1 trapped and now stable with ambulance. Working on securing the scene and witing for engineers from freo city.

1019: half of building collapsed, other half threatening to come down. Road blocked both directions.

1043: clp, dsm beeliar , mlo on site, usar manager on scene. Situation under control. awaiting engineers to report.

Any report of fire in Kings Park has a large response, due to the sensitive nature of the area. It's either an automatic 2nd or 3rd alarm, usually with the Perth DM turned out straight away.
