The Golden Bay Control point on Mandurah road where we are stationed - a clearing right next to us burnt in yesterdays fire
re-ignited. Swift action from a Singleton crew (didn't catch callsign) and I think Secret Harbour. 16:17

Addition: 16:35 - Golden Bay Control requesting all available helitacs to assist and additional LT's etc - Fire (unsure if it's Fletcher Rd??) running...

Golden Bay Control - classified latest flareup - as 4TH ALARM

Bushfire Emergency Warning for people on Fletcher Road between Stakehill Road and Karri Street Karnup
Wednesday 1 December 2010 – 5:15 PM

A bushfire emergency warning has been issued for people on Fletcher Road between Stakehill Road and Karri Street Karnup.

The fire is burning in the Rockingham Lakes Regional Park, between Mandurah Road and Fletcher Road, north of Marapana Wildlife Word.

There is a threat to lives and homes. You are in danger and need to act immediately to survive.

WHAT TO DO:

•If you have not left yet and the way is clear, leave immediately for a safer place and take your survival kit with you.
•If you have not prepared your home, it is too late to do it now, your safest option is to leave.
•Do not relocate at the last minute in a vehicle or on foot as this is deadly.
•Your safer place may be with family or friends who live away from the bushfire risk area.
•It is not safe to stay and actively defend, your best chance for survival is to leave.
•If you cannot leave, you need to get ready to take shelter in your home and actively defend it.
RELOCATION ROUTES:

If you live in Fletcher Road leave via Fletcher Road into Stakehill Road.

KEEP UP TO DATE:
Call 1300 657 209, visit www.fesa.wa.gov.au or listen to news bulletins.

Updates will be provided hourly unless the situation changes
