chris
Its looking good for a repeat of the normal season. 2 scrubbies and 1 car in this fortnight so far.
Pretty good prediction ..... Didnt get to attend. Sat at work and watched the smoke get bigger though.

3 seperate fires.

Could not see a thing at all.

We worked the north flank and knocked one of them out.

chrisssssssssss,

The S/O and ICV were telling us who to mobilise, wasn't up to us.
yeah no worries tom i know its usually the oic at the incident who calls the shots, quite idiotic that rocko 2nd didnt get called til bout 430 was it bomber after it had been going for 2 or more hours, and they were the closest station to the incedent and they have 3 4wd appliances.sometimes makes me wonder how the people in charge get there.
although there may've been a good reason for keeping them on station, but as far as i know kwinana didnt attend.

Millsy i knew u'd be ther..wer u in the 1.4?thought i heard u on the radio, wondered if u wer back from giggity giggity.

Chrissss.

From the sms we got the first call at 1403.

A further call went to us at 1440 to mobilise the 3rd light tanker.

A releif crew page came over around at 1811.

Thankfully i was at work as the fires in that area are hard work.

Did drive past on way home and still looks like there is a fair area left for few more fires. :(
