Re: General fire discussions
we didnt ask for any particular brigade to turn out to our fire in reen rd it was the comms centre who made the decision on who they called they after all have to bigger picture there on whats happening around town
Re: General fire discussions
Yep - some people think that ComCen have no idea. They do... if anyone's been through there they'll see what info they have and the way they turn out Brigades/Groups/Units.rich wrote:we didnt ask for any particular brigade to turn out to our fire in reen rd it was the comms centre who made the decision on who they called they after all have to bigger picture there on whats happening around town
Re: General fire discussions
yep i agree they do a hell of a lot in there and do it very well especially since they have only from 3 to 5 people at a time running the whole state in there, i recon it should be manditory for all brigades to visit the comms centre will give you all a greater appreciation for what they do in there and how much they do for all of us whether we vollies or paid firies.

When they update news articles the links still stay valid to the updated version, at the time of posting they were saying a pilot... why do I need to be carefull? is the boogie man going to come and get me for posting material that can change?

I would have thought it would be too much smoke for the Freo fire, so quickly? My birds eye view shows nothing. Definately can smell it through the air con ventsgkoutlis wrote:Same question as me WF - interesting to find out...written_ficton wrote:Where is the smoke around the city from?
