There are general jobs all around the place this arvo, power was interupted in the Belmont area around 4:30pm with BOTH directs of Great Eastern Hwy closed at Belgravia St. Not sure if its still closed but the tailback in all directions amounted to over a kilometre and ~30-45min wait time.

Multiple appliances heading to edgecombe pass in Averley for a scrub fire.
No appliances onsite yet but 6AR advises evacuations in progress and multiple houses under threat.

En route:

Midland
Bassendean
Malaga
Wangara
West Swan

1708: Wangara just mobilised and can see large smoke plume from station.
Dm ? on Whitfords ave can also see large smoke plume and mobilising.

Have moved the post with the reports from the Hope Valley (?) to the significant fires thread, but please all keep the comments (as distinct from fire reports) to the general fire discussions thread.
