Word is - Power outage affecting Rockingham to Wellard - Power out due to fire fighter safety conducting back burning. Major impact to train commuters - as well as major roads being blocked off and will stay closed for most of tomorrow - including Ennis Ave and Old Mandurah Road.

I noted alot of appliances, but due to casualty's to attend to didn't take photos etc. However, alot of Crews there, saw all of Mandogalup. Kwinana South, Malaga, Serpintine, Jarradale, Jandakot, Welshpool, Oakford including the sweet 9.2 - Wanneroo - and West Swan, Baldivis, Singleton.... too many to write...

I am absolutely buggered and exhausted - this fire has not yet been contained and gusts of winds expected upto 40kms per hour.

Lots of WAPOL guys there, even saw JC-107 and some UQ cars in the new POD layout. AV-201.

Good on ya Mr. G!
I'm quite certain that everyone you treated appreciates your services!
I'll be seeing if we're still attending the fire tomorrow and if we are what shifts are available.

Thanks T - we were kept very busy last night and had an awesome Team Leader and Paramedics from Kwinana - they offered additional equipment incase we ran out (i.e Bandages, saline etc) - the Hamburgers from the Salvos were top notch - and very grateful for the meal and drinks.

I am no doubt going to get another call out today, the gusts of wind are absolutely shocking.

I know for you guys in SES - Ty are going to need every available resource, from what I heard in the numerous briefings last night, Trains not running from Rockingham to Wellard - Power Out around Old Mandurah Rd, Ennis Ave - road blocks etc.... It's not what you need when you have loads of people heading back to Perth.

Congrats and my appreciation to everyone helping out yesterday.

It can be hard to be away from family and friends at times like this, and I think it often feels underappreciated by the community.

Malaga vehicles under lights and sirens this morning around 6.15AM heading down Malaga drive across my green light. There was a mummy truck and a baby truck - you work it out, I don't know all the terms :)
SJA van under L & S down Alexander Drv about 90 seconds later, maybe same destination?

Not sure if it's been mentioned but I read in the local rag today that Police suspect the Mills Rd fire was because of a bush drug lab!

Looks like some nice thunderstorm clouds biulding up over the hills. Possibley could get a few lighting strike fires if it does turn into a thurnderstorm.

Yesterday afternoon when BFB LT1 posted there were large building storm clouds which I don't think amounted to much.

The smog is this mornings problem.
