I heard 6AR give a long series of number to Armadale FRS with regards to a chemical. Can anyone tell me what the relevance of the numbers is?

Every chemicle has a UN number and every un number has relevant information(other Numbers) relating to that Un the chemicle has a list that is used to determin what action/PPE/ if you can use water / if you need another chemicla to nutrelise it or not / how far to evacuate and so on.
In all Appliances there is HERG Guige (Hazardous Emergencey Rsponse Guidlines ) Book and this has a List with all those numbers which you use to cross referance .
Complictaed not realy once ypu have seen one and used it .
Sounds more complicted than it is.
Hope this helps

Thanks wasaint, thats what i heard. after 6ar gave them the numbers they were told that they had to flush the roadway but contain the water, and that it reacts to acid.

raise the bat to the pavillion, thats a ton for me.

In the paper today their was a house fire in armadale yesterday that uncoverd a drug lab. Believed to be used for making possibley speed or ice. Don't know if this would link up to the chemicals Armadale were asking 6AR in above posts.

Post by Ausrob »

What's with the bushfires in Baldivis their must be fire bugs living in that area.

Lucky Link had small structure fire worth $10 000 damage, involved structure, container, and some furniture in the container. Deliberately lit. Handled by Welshpool 2nd.
