The PerthNow article is almost identical, but without the 2 glaring mistakes.

Wouldn't Northam have been at the job too!?

Why on earth would you be sending these guys from the coastal side of the city out to Northam!! fair enough the SET from ossie park or murdoch may have gone to it. You gotta love the garbage that the media makes up at times

Midland and Ossie park CFRS were definitley there as well. Why would they send Rockingham 3rd lt all the way to Northman when there are 4 or 5 VFRS brigades much closer who didn't get a guernsey. Strange hey

Rockingham 3rd was sent to Northam with two of the career relief FF's. A request was sent for extra manpower due to the nature of the incident.

Photo's coming of choppers, bombers and a bit of the Boya fire. all the action shots except helicopters filling were taken from a distance.

Anyone else get a page this morning for a heavy tanker at Jandakot airport for an "abnormal landing"?

No burn season over up or down your way?

Seems to be around greater Bunbury.
