Welfare? we were suppose to get welfare!

We just had 8 jobs in a row then went home no one offered us welfare!
not even from the super large salvo catering truck.

Schnitzels, chips etc? You on drugs? lol.. I havent seen anything like that come out of that truck since the Carmel Fireworks fire years ago (after they just got it). They have a habit of using it to store stuff and just wheeling out a BBQ..

I must be lucky i have had it twice. I remember the first time we rocked up around tea and were had schnitzel and chips. Then stood down and sent home. Lucky as we were to sick to fight fires afterwards. Also had it at pickering brook. Sat at the staging point for 14 hrs and were fed well.

Every other time toasties and reliable bangers

You should have asked about it, I know in Stirling, you won't go out for longer than 4 hours without welfare. Might go a little longer but at the end of the job it's back to the Ops Centre for Welfare!

Nah i spose when you look at it, 1 hour worth of welfare would have been an hour longer before heading home so i shouldnt complain.

nope we just continued with what we had, when we requested resupplies of some sand bags (went through about 300) and some rope the rocky guys who dropped them off had a major attitude about it so we avoided them
