polair .. really wow probly got flur on too see where it mostly where heat coming from.

It was a small scrub fire.....Maybe Polair spotted it first?

why else would polair be out there??
because theres no way that polair could possibley be looking for the person that lit the fire.
Im pritty sure they know where the most heat is coming from , just look for the biggest flame , and i thought the point of fire fighting was to prevent more bush from burning and then put out the rest not the other way round.

Fire at old academy at maylands

Theres a fire at the Maylands acadamy aera burning towards the Golf Course, Dog handlers rushing back to check dogs. 1650

edit. helitacs now called in.

Just got home. 3 helitacks turning out to Maylands fire. Asking for ground control channel to be 16. Couldn't see to much smoke on the way home from Mandurah.

i think the raaf is turning out a crew to a fire somewhere.

i dont think they must've bought it in though becuase otherwise i wouldve been able to pick up a repeater channel that close.especially when i was at family lunch 400ms away.

Last I heard, on the sunday.

one of the DM's was requesting that the SES bring down there repeater because Comm's on channel 36 were shocking.

Not actually SES's repeater...all our repeaters are UHF. It'll be an FRS/BFS repeater thats been given to the SES to setup cause that's part of one of the SES courses.
