g like i said at about 3.30pm to the north of mt helena a thunder storm blew up from the north and would have travelled over gidgegannup,chidlow and towards york came from nowhere at disappeared quickly must have been a dry storm as we had no rain in mt helena plenty of thunder though

the lightnening strikes started the fires within around 5 min from when i saw the lightning while going for water from reen rd the plume of smoke from both was big and very fast taking off.the fire along reen ,toodyay rd is all put just a very long night for the mopp up crews ahead took us around 3 to 4 hrs to contain it was very fast running and weird behaviour was spotting in places up to 300m ahead.Am totally knackered now.

3rd alarm grass and scrub fire whiteman park,large area of grass and tea tree on fire.residents from ferguson rd have just called expressing concern about their properties.kalamunda cfm has just set up control point missed name of road.joondalup 2.4 turning out,malaga wants helitacks but has just been told thats a negative.guilford 2.4 and lt have arrived,swan cheif wants east gidgie lt and 1.4 turned out,east swan lt 2,just arrived,3.06 bullsbrook lt1 turned out, 3.24 kalamunda cfm wants two more stations pumpers and larger tankers to turn out to control point for more asset protection

FIRE GROUND CHANNEL 97

Youildine Road Control

Good to here Guildford 2.4 and LT and Bassendean 1.4 and LT going there

CFM Kalamunda just asked for units from Wanneroo to attend. mostly 2.4 4.4 and 2LT's

Fire is moving towards houses on Fergersen, Police are advising residents to stay or go

SO far all units attending Fire Call

Channels 97 and 98 as sectors and Command 32

CFM Kallamunda and SO from Malaga have requested 2 extra SO's to be mobilised to help with incident command

Bassendean and Midland are mobile
asking for assist protection on Partrige Street
