Just been going through the log file for the stream...

Someone has streamed it from their mobile phone!

Whoever that was, I'm wondering, how well did it work?

That would be me :)

Work gives me a NextG 'Aircard' to access our networks while I'm working on loco's or offsite in the Northwest. I'm using VLC on my laptop and it works really well, never had any dropouts (other than Telstra ones). Lets me keep an eye on the troops (there's no escaping me!) while I'm up here.

How did you know it was a mobile?

I've been listening to the stream and I've noticed that the squelch tail is occasionally a bit long resulting in a burst of noise at the end of overs... will have a look see why it's doing that! :smt067

Ok. I've finally fixed the squelch hysteresis on the receiver for your listening pleasure... hopefully no more squelch noise :-)

Gav,

Noticed yesterday that the scanner had hit max allowed users. Just wondering how many are able to be on at the same time or was this just an error

Yeah, it's been hitting maximum number of users (6) every so often. Tried to connect from work and even I was booted off :-(

Is it just my connection or does sometimes it go a bit quiet and distorted?
