No, just that I know how they work - if they say it's under control, I know it is. Plus there is no better motivator for knocking a fire down than it being in your patch. That spot is right on the boundary of Gidge and Mt Helena.

This afternoon is a great example of how inadequate our fire service is and how mismanaged it is. Maybe under-funded is a better term.

Why are they sending out more pumpers to whiteman park, they already have 4 frs brigades protecting houses, just more wasted resources to sit on the side of the road :?

I believe it's a BFB run incident - sounds like the Swan ICV.
