G'day everyone,

I've been visiting WARSUG over the last couple of months but decided now is as good a time as any to join. Ex (long time) NSW RFS and currently in a forestry industry brigade down in the south west. Respect to all the Emergency Services personnel out there keeping the  safe.

Gohie,
The ABC bushfire updates for Bridgetown are about as current as you will get unless you are down there.

http://sentinel.ga.gov.au/acres/sentine ... er_B.shtml provides frequent position updates (check all boxes in the last 48 hours on both MODIS and NOAA for starters to get an overview. These are updated several times daily but what you get will depend on weather, time of day, etc)

Also WadeH's link will give you some info. Unfortunately this is infrequently updated on the website but is announced on ABC local.

Last I heard, the fire is moving northish. No towns are under threat at this stage but rural properties likely will be.

Regards,
Gohie

Did anyone else hear polair speak to 6AR at around 2200?
Heard polair call up asking if the vehicle was a white skyline, Duncraig responded that the vehicle was a commodore and was suspicious.
I wasnt aware that this was possible, have never heard polair on 6AR before.

While walking the dog with the misses about half an hour or so ago, noticed smoke coming from the Ossie Park industrial area. Soon after heard sirens coming north up the freeway.

Would have been a car fire next to Osborne park hospital that resulted in a scrub fire.

Osborne park and Daglish 2nd were in attendance. Was classified 2nd alarm property.

Can anyone please list the BFB units within the Perth area. I have seen some being on a task force over the weekend and some area's Ive not herd of before. It may come in handy if I relocate to another area.

Thanks to anyone who is able to help :D :D
