Buttler have just called in 1st alarm property, arrival code 88.

How can you have 1st alarm, and still need more resources?

May only need more LT's, 2.4/3.4's etc, but not another pump. Happens all the time in CFRS world.

but have other Vollie brigades organised strike teams for today and tomorow?????
We have a full crew for all appliances for instant turnout plus 4 on standby. Not complaining about not being able to go out anywhere as i'm not too keen to leave my A/C today.
Feel sorry for the crews at the Currambine structural fire in there level 2's.

No, VFS but almost all our calls are Bush fires.

Never heard of the FRS charging for attendance at fires. They provide a community service, funded by the tax payers.

I would suggest that the ARRF would do the same, being funded by the Commonwealth Govt.

I know noone that has ever been charged for house fires, bushfires etc.

Not sure where you got that info from???? :?:

This. Also if the fire is on Perth Airport land remember they own a large chunk that includes surrounding businesses), its partially their responsibility (although with this fire I'm not sure of its location).

Are the airport tenders FESA operated or Perth Airport operated?
"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"
"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

I am led to beleive the Airport Fire Tenders are run through the Government - Air Services Australia.
