I was down in Kwinana yesterday the 24th and there seemed to be alot of smoke drift in where was the fire does anyone know and is it still going because there seems to be alot of smoke drifting in to the Northam/clackline area.

Hi all;

Just caught on very late in the 6AR convo - an incident in Ellenbrook with ICV known as Midland Control? (don't think I heard it right) anyone have any further info?

i think its structure fire... not sure where or what it is though...




confirming it is a structure fire Ellenbrook. Ellenbrook and Wangara have turned out.

also heard Belmont has been released from some incident in Midland..

Bassendean, Midland and Belmont were at a construction site. As I jumped out of the car they had just requested the CLP and SET was en route to support BA operations.
They upgraded to 3rd alarm when discovering the difficult to extinguish areas requiring additional BA wearers, but declined the ICV.

Didn't hear the Ellenbrook job.

Its only just after lunch wait till around 2pm thats around when things are going to start happening from my expierence.

Up in the Northam shire we have a christmas new years roster made up with who is available and when, So pretty much have a small group ready to run when the call comes in. but not official a strike team.

thats a good idea!, my BFB have organised strike teams for holiday period.

any more info on this Donnybrook fire????????
