Swan CFM just requested a heap of appliances Firecall for "The Springs Road" in Gidgiegannup.

Air support requested.

When does this become Major?

Between the points above, and the appliances equivalent to 3rd alarm, I'd call it Major in terms of this forum

Lots of appliances there. Up in the air we had 1 x 802, Helitac 681, Air Attack, and Air Intel.

Now reported 2nd fire in area
Theres been around 10 fires in the area in the last week or so.

1627: Wangara mobile tree fire, franklin rd jandabup-obviously flare up from the other day.

With butler, joondalup and wangara now tied up at incidents i would have hoped an additional station had been at least mobilised on standby. I dont know if anyone has ever followed the SAGRN paging service in adelaide but standbys are mobilised within minutes of dbas let alone fires.

There is a truck fire 20 kilometres east of Merredin on the Great Eastern Highway near Booran North Road.

Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service crews are at the scene

The incident was reported at 2..57 pm today.
