2nd Alarm Traffic Crash - Hope Valley reports 1 x code 90. Rockingham 1st asked to proceed normal road.

Parmelia/Kwinana - ammended location - Thomas Road - Freeway fly over.

Chaplin also in attendance - 15:09

Traffic Broadcast

Kwinana Freeway CLOSED in Both Directions at Thomas Road

Main Roads would like to advise road users that due to a major incident on the Kwinana Freeway at Thomas Road, the Kwinana Freeway is CLOSED in both directions at Thomas Road. The closure is expected to remain for a number of hours.

Traffic is being diverted up the north and southbound off ramps, across the bridge, and back onto the freeway via the on ramps. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and expect delays.

Fish and Chip shop in Gidgegannup on fire, Mt Helena, Gidgegannup have been called.

Anybody have info on the fire in Gidge today?

Seems like the fire season has started a little bit early.

Structure Fire - Newcastle Street, Leederville. Believe 2nd Alarm. Don't know which store, but an awful smell of burning plastic was smelt.

Perth 1st and 2nd on scene. GW104 and GC*** providing road closure.

Dunno why tow trucks were there.

There was the vehicle fires, and then not to long after the fire on floor 2, Perth 1,2,3 and CLP attended.

Fire was at house behind the Fish and Chip shop. They had started there fire which then set the inside of the roof on fire.

Gidge has had a few fires already for this month. it is due to the fuel in the bush is still dry as there was a lack of rain this year. Gidge is on hi alert this year as a long with all of the swan brigades
