Re: Kiara & Ellenbrook Fire Station
I Can confirm that Ellenbrook went online Tuesday morning 8am. Kirara Station will be located next to the police station on Morley Drive (so east of the police station). There are talks that it may be a USAR station with USAR moving out of malaga into thier own station which would mean that another site needs to be found for Bassendean as it will not be a co-location facility. As with every thing in FESA the story may change tomorrow.
Re: Kiara & Ellenbrook Fire Station
Not sure where your getting your info from but USAR is based at Canningvale.
Mass Decon is based at Malaga. and that is the first I have heard of Mass decon or USAR moving. I think someones had a slow day and an overactive imagination. A USAR/mass decon station would be an extremely quiet station.

Re: Kiara & Ellenbrook Fire Station
Roger that, there was an article in one of the locals that we get in the hills, can't remember which one but I'll see if I can find it and post the details of it up.

Re: Kiara & Ellenbrook Fire Station
Photo's maybe but the article that I read was in the Echo on the 29th. I thought the Echo allowed for online reading but obviously not.

Re: Kiara & Ellenbrook Fire Station
You heard correctly. If i remember correctly it's UPHR01 or similarly marked, and I'd be very surprised if they gave them an old Light Tanker.

Re: Kiara & Ellenbrook Fire Station
The photo in the Echo newspaper (July 31st) shows the pumper marked as UP03-HR. I have spoken to the Echo and their website is being redeveloped so no page to link to . If i get a chance i will scan it and put it up.BuddahFRS wrote:I heard that they have the NEW UPHR (Urban Pumper Heavy Rescue) and a V8 Lt there
