Fairly biggish scrub fire near Burswood this morning, anyone know what happened?
May be the Scrub fire I posted last night - Maylands/Burswood - where the Golf Course and Police Complex is - I wasn't awake long enough to hear how Perth 3rd and Duncraig went with that incident.

G
At approx 0800 this morning?

bunning rd gidgie fire was cranking along early when i went for a look, the fire was up gidgie end of bunning rd grass/scrub, at one stage there was supposed to be children trapped in a house alone, also they asked for ambo to take firefighter to hospital for heat stress/smoke inhalation, crews done a great job in knocking it down as quick as they did, just glad the wind from this morning had died right down to almost nothing or we might have had another brigadoon or worse, once again great effort by all fireman/firewomen =D>

The fire was pretty intense, flames were at times higher than the truck, 668,669,681 were there ans nailed part of the flank. Was surprised to seemidland, welshpool, bassendean there, lots of dec appliances there. Just one big mop up job to be done.
