Heading home I heard Chidlow, Mt Helena, East and West Gidgie heading for them and saw the Helicopters Australia truck heading up the hill as well as 670 and 671 flying up there. Lot of smoke... Not hearing much on the scanner about them now, are they under control?

Apparently there was a huge fire up at Northam, started as a house fire then turned into a grassy. Helitac 668, 669, 767 were sent up there along with the fixed wing's

what time was this?
i know northam had a structure, and toodjay (sorry for spelling) backed them up.
only heard 4 men in BA and 150 000 dollars damage with WApol and western power attending. dont recall hearing anything about a grass fire there aswell. But you never know its possible. Helitacs were everywhere today, but mainly the swan and neerabup fires

North Dardanup? That would be Harvey or Dardanup shire just NE of Bunbury? Saw the AirTractors head out but didn't see or hear anything else. Sinbin might know something.
