jj, theyve been pretty lucky up around the Kalamunda area with catching serial arsonists in the past. There were 2 or 3 caught in the time I was there. Hopefully this one is caught as well.

I smelt smoke at the airport, I was getting a tad worried that perhaps there could have been someone going around.

Oh and on the way home last night there was a nice fire in a machinery yard in Hazelmere to.

Friday afternoon approx 14:00 Fremantle 1st & CLP were practising the aerial ladder over the swan river.

Made an interesting sight, unfortunately guys I had a crappy exercise on thus no camera no nothing.

A large fire has been burning for most of day around Henderson, and Secret Harbour, Rockingham Frs, Rocking 2nd , IVC, and Secret Harbour FRS is the Control, several FRS units have been in attendance plus 60 Vollies, Crews asked 6AR requested a Tech to repair some hoses, 1430 jj
Mandurah 2nd joining in SH Fire. 1501 jj

Baldivis 4.4, 2.2 and light tanker requested by Rockingham deputy 1, they already there, lol. Baldivis 4.4 being sent elswhere now. 1600 crews mopping up 1605 jj

I believe that fire at Secret Harbour is in Scientific Park. From what i heard it was called in as a car fire (Secret Harbour diverted from another call to attend this). Called in as a 2nd alarm when SH on scene. I believe it went to at least a 3rd Alarm. From what I heard Secret Harbour and Mandurah 1st FRS, Baldivis and Singelton BFB on scene as well as Rockingham Chief and an unknown DM. Possibly more (have been away from scanner for most of afternoon). Will post a note in the 3rd Alarm Scrub Fire section

60 vollies is probably a bit of an overestimation, there were 2 bfb brigades and about 3 vfrs at the most with the odd FRS truck stopping by.

Staying at a mates last night in Settlers Hill (Baldivis), Police had a road blocked near the BFS station and saw Rockingham 1st pump and lt there bout 7.30pm and again at 2.00am any one Hear what was happening?

Realfirie that road block in settlers hills was due to a suicide.
rockingham 1st turned out for special assistance eg cleaning up the mess.
