Turned out roughly 1437
LPG fire extinguished and 1 Casualty extracted and with SJA 1456
2 * running fuel fires being worked on by crews with hose reels.

Yeah I didn't think there was a kewdale station either...or at least not a Kewdale 2nd, but that's what it was sounding like. We'll call them Welshpool from now on . Haven't heard anything since I'd assume they must have finished by now.

Sorry mate didn't get a chance to right down the address as I was half way going through an intersection and reception was readable with distortion.
Edit: Further to that I didn't recognise either of the roads as a major road.

I think the leak happened around lunch time?? as I heard it on 96fm road watch on the way home from work today. I drove past the Clayton road/ Roe Hwy intersection about 1pm and the police had it blocked off and there was a very strong smell of gas.

Ruptured gas pipe at the intersection of Clayton Rd & Roe Hwy on ramp (under the bridge). When i went past on the way home there was an emergency gas repair crew at work and lots of workmen standing around. It would appear they are erecting new light poles around the newly reconstructed intersections either side of the bridge, and that some one may have hit a pipe during these works.
