Freo 1st spotted a flare (while standing by at the mva in speawood) which has started a fire in the bush down on hami hill rd, freo 1st & 2nd with south coogee LT turning out.
Usually goes up once a year in summer wont happen once they start developing that land.

The flare was lauched over everyone at the crash scene and i was sent to investigate whether or not it had started a fire, which of course it had. Had freo and murdoch turn it was pretty small as far as fires go.

Not surprising given the strong easterly last night.
Gt Eastern Hwy was still closed (westbound) around Glen Forrest this morning.
