The new FRS 2.4's are at the stations but cannot be used at fires until all crews trained on them. Joondalup used theirs as a crew change vehicle during the Spectacles Fire. Looked ok from distance but one ff claimed they waddle and crews are not entirely happy as yet. Should be on line by the end of summer. And yes they are Hino's with upgraded suspension which makes them higher than any other fire appliance
