hey all

Just after some pics of the new 2.4urbans that the carer stations are getting ie

Malage, Joondalup and Canning Vale

When are they suppose to be getting them. Have heard canningvale run ariound in a lt recently as 2.4 was at workshops

im asuming that they'll look like a normal 2007 2.4u based on a single cab chassis.

possilby similar to the one at kalgoorlie frs but with the roll up lockers like whats on south coogee 2.4u

They will probably be quite different. They will not be the same as the vollie appliances.. firefly can probably give us a better idea !

I belive they will be on a Hino chassis and will not have live drive pump.

None were in the rear yard at workshops yesterday.

However there were several other new appliances ready for delivery.

Light Tankers for Mt Helena, Woorooloo,Kwinana Sth LT2 and Yornup 2.4B

Also two new Scania cab chassis.

Currently in the process of heavies so may be extra for the current schedule ?. Think that the new MP design is still at commitee stage. Fastlane may know if thats the case re MP.

all i have herd is that the new perm 2.4's are a hino truck and are meant to be pretty flash, instead of the old bunky Medium Tankers they are driving now.
