is the old Heavy Rescue Tender still in operation?
i thought they de-commisioned that when the HRP (Heavy Rescue Pumps) came in

This is what you are referring too. It was a one off for WA, but there are heaps in Qld and NSW. They pretty much hate them over here. And all of their reasons are fair. Would be a nice thing to join the Museum collection over there, as it was so different.

They're actually based on a bus. Originally built by bus makers. They are solid, as they are built from the chassis up. BUT, they are UGLY!

Yeah, the equipment it used to carry is great, but it's still around, and in nicer trucks, and spread around a bit more
