Didnt hear much more so dont know what happened, all io know is some guy run the traffic block right past the leak :S

Big fire at some sort of scrap metal/car wreck place Hope Valley. Live cross on Ch7 news from chopper. I was passed by Belmont trucks on Canning Hwy South Perth about 17:30, the LT had what looked like a foam trailer attached.

Fire is actually at smorgan steel in naval base.Near rockingham rd x hopevalley road. Currently a 5th alarm hazmat/fire

Trucks in attendance are
Hope valley
success
kwinana
freo ladder
murdoch
belmont
canning vale
chaplain
flo
mandogalup and jandakot bfs

and the mandogolup boys will be happy as they have just been asked for there water tanker. They are draining the hydrants and not getting sufficent water supply

Maddington, Perth 1st, CLP1, DM Central, DM Darling all attending Leeming. Urgent req for Police, Ambulance and SET for ventilation.

This baldivis boy would of been happy turning out with the 4.4 if he wasn't in mandurah at the time.

The fire at naval base is contained to an area 50m x 40m. Full of old car bodies and the like. Will be there for some time. Startig to round up as many 7000 and 9000ltr bfs appliances due to lack of water. some 60 firefighters from both agencies as well as st j and police in attendance

The fire at farmer jacks is out. All bar 1 truck have returned to station. Was a cooler that went up sending smoke through the building. 8 in ba searching. Nil injuries

Yeah i got a feeling James and Chris will be able to give us the best info on the Naval Base fire as they possibly went... I was down there for a couple of hours.

Went to Farmer Jacks fire afterwards and got a few shots. $250,000+ damage.
