dont worry mate we know how annoying it is
You wanna talk to your CFM/Chief before you make comments like that! FESA can only use what its offered. Probably a very good reason !
and fastlane u should know as an officer that fesa rarely think logically rather sendin appliances the same from somewhere else when ther is many of which are capable of doing the same job a hell of alot closer

Isn't just people being on the end of hoses that they have to think about. The benefit of time and experience will perhaps teach you that! :D At any rate, this isnt the right thread for discussing this..

why does it matter whose on the end of the hose as long as they put the fire out? all the dms are supposed to be ther to do the organising im not havin a go at ya just tryin to make sense of why brigades which are closer dont get sent, fesa thinkin logically as usual!

Fire alert
Gooseberry Hill Bush Fire - Issued: Thursday, 8 March 2007 7:45 PM

FESA advises residents at home in the locality of Gooseberry Hill, Helena Valley and Boya that a bush fire which started earlier this afternoon on the Zig Zag Scenic Drive has been contained as at 7.30pm.

Local residents are, however, advised that they should remain vigilant in case of break-outs.

Mopping up operations are currently under way and firefighters will continue to monitor the area for at least the next 24 hours.

Drivers in the area should take care as emergency service personnel and vehicles are still operating on roads.

ooo might get a call yet if they're still operating, but I think Darlington has stood down.

Hi there,

I believe theres a fire Russell Road x Henderson from memory.
I could see the smoke from the city, I thought it was further south... oh well

Jandakot have mobilised one light tanker and last I heard theyre trying
to get a crew together for the second LT.

I got an SMS from Jandakot brigade about 20mins ago stating:
"Crews required urgently. Third Alarm. Tip Fire"

That'd be about the 3rd or 4th time Henderson Tip has gone up this summer??

Was at one up there on Coulston Rd just a couple of years ago. This one seems to be further east, heading towards Saw Drive. Quite a bit of panic on the radio at present.

Are there crews on the way? The wind is blowing it uphill (from the look of it) towards Darlington which is a nightmare for firefighting.
