Able to pickup DFES?

Post by ConnorM » Wed Aug 08, 2018 6:47 pm

Hi all,

Probably a well asked question;

Is this programmable to listen to DFES?
BTECH UV-5X3 TRIBANDER (VHF/1.25M/UHF) ANALOG PORTABLE TWO-WAY RADIO

Would I need any kind of license?

I'm really looking for something cheap.

Short answer, yes. Long answer, yes but you need an amateur license to posses the device.

"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".
