Quansheng TG-UV2

Where as this devise looks good and has some reviews, I am having a problem with the drivers. When trying to write from the computer to hand held, the message "COM is invalid. Please check COM port status."

It is a pain in the ass t get the drivers from ZIP format in WinRAR and finally load them. This took some time to even find them. The manufacturer has instructions in Chinese.

Maybe I will change my mind on this unit once I get the driver issue figured out.

Sounds like you are having a problem with connecting to the programmer, not the radio. Presumably it's a USB device? Windows Vista or 7?
