I've owned four of these units in the past, liked them for there excellent receiver performance. The transmitter seemed to have on/off issues with the audio, but my message could still be heard loud and clear. Good for scanner enthusiasts for the receiver side of things.
Rather bulky to hold in your hand, not the slimmest sweetheart on the block. If thinking of purchasing one of these, get a more powerful battery the standard one supplied is very useless. Easy programmable for receive/transmit, all done on the keypad. Make sure you get the RX/TX modification done to this, otherwise you won't get the full pleasure out of it.
Out of ten I would rate this unit as an eight.
