Hi All

Well it was said to me on FRI that the order for 20 new bikes CANNED and next 20 ordered CANNED as well so no new Mike Bike for next YEAR??? But did se order for 20 PUSH BIKES!!!! #-o #-o #-o

Push bikes are needed, the ones in the city need a yellow sticker... Some are rusty and have balding tyres!

20 Mike Bikes in Perth and 30 based at Midland... Thats it!

The rest are off to auction....

Low Kms if anyones keen! $5000.00 tops is the retail on them!

Those 30 in Midland though are all TEG's though. East Metropolitan Group doesn't have any according to a news paper article about 3 or 4 weeks ago in the local. That was coming from a SGT or higher.
Hmmm buy now get a little bike learn how to ride then get the big bike license :) ...or maybe not, riding lessons are expensive!

Most of the 30 were parked up there today.... No riders left!

Pity there's no justification for SES having bikes other than for searches. Even then you'd want trail bikes, and you wouldn't require lights and sirens fitted.

Cant SJA buy the Bikes? and use them for rapid response for special doctors like they do in Vic.?

They probably could, but then there is the running costs and training - I would doubt they would.

Round in circles? On ABC News tonight there was a quick blurb that WA Police were considering expanding the number of motorbikes "from the forties into the hundreds"
