Push bikes are needed, the ones in the city need a yellow sticker... Some are rusty and have balding tyres!
I've closed the door!

Those 30 in Midland though are all TEG's though. East Metropolitan Group doesn't have any according to a news paper article about 3 or 4 weeks ago in the local. That was coming from a SGT or higher.ConstableCare wrote:20 Mike Bikes in Perth and 30 based at Midland... Thats it!

Pity there's no justification for SES having bikes other than for searches. Even then you'd want trail bikes, and you wouldn't require lights and sirens fitted.

They probably could, but then there is the running costs and training - I would doubt they would.nra555 wrote:Cant SJA buy the Bikes? and use them for rapid response for special doctors like they do in Vic.?

Round in circles? On ABC News tonight there was a quick blurb that WA Police were considering expanding the number of motorbikes "from the forties into the hundreds"
