Sounds a bit like Discovery Channel's Perfect Disaster, 'Fire Storm'. A fire starts in the hills surrounding Sydney after an 18-month drought, and quickly becomes out of control.

Also, apparently 'Strike Team' is the new name for Scorched.

Scorched should have been done as a comedy or porno version.. The narrative wouldn't change much.. ha ha

Wasn't the best. If you'd seen that program that put together the real life fire tragedy is NSW a few years back, part of the footage was crammed into this.

They over did the drama side though, I can't help but think in the 4WD they should have got out once they were stuck (not to mention he didn't ever reverse) and ermm, run? Obviously if the 'fire' was inches from them they may not get far but that's slightly more logical than hiding in a non-water appliance? Like the young chick, she ran like hell, still got roughed up but made it.

In the control room, the water corp type person character appeared totally useless, didn't even know that the plant's feed didn't even go to where they need it? Maybe part of the 'water scam'?

EDIT: There's also a new I think series this time on 10 called 'Rush' this time another Police drama. By the ad's again over dramatised.

Drove us niuts

I think one of the issues is the re-use of the same actors over and over for different show. Yes some of them are really good but others you just get the feeling they are milking/being milked for work and it ruins the character they play at the time. Need some fresh ones.

You right there A
