Speaking of MW-TV found any photos yet?

When I did pres at GWN they had 2inch carts for adverts and still played telecine live to air.
Better than the manual roll u-matics at Mid Western though :D

No, we have to be a sort of "cheif of staff" ourselves and work out what is news-worthy and what is a waste of time. We also have no journo. So we have to drive, listen to the scanner, navigate, answer phones, call contacts and film while watching our back, alone. We get 95% of our jobs from the scanner.

wow one out of nine right, thats got to be a record for me

it was from two scientific based processes

1. you work in the media so it was always going to be some type of phone you could type up your stories on (blackberry or iphone or that type of thing)

2. it was the first type of phone image that came up on my Google image search

so yer turbo im good

and i can tell you what type of phones the bmx media bandit uses

it is a secure communication system consisting of two cans and one string

but don't you just think the bat phone is just it

It's nothing special to look at, just a couple of old scanners sitting on a desk, but i will ask the bosses if it's ok. Worst they can do is say no.

Ok that makes a little more sense...

He got a few right which is pretty good considering he was taking the piss.

1) The iphone
2) Scanner
3) We have a Nokia CDMA phone in the glovebox
4) GPS
5) Hand scanner in centre console

Plus you get bonus points because we used to run a cb also.

AND the boss is putting a laptop in (probably in a similar position) for the media feed we will be getting once digital is fully operational... but thats a story for another day.... :P
