Gotta feel sorry for the guy. Hey Turbo, how much extra footage would you have taken that wasn't shown?? and who effectively owns it now??

I put down around 22 minutes in total.

Interesting on who owns it. My understanding is that the stations own the broadcasting rights and we own the footage.

So would you uploading some of that footage to somewhere like youtube after it's been broadcast then be in breach of copyright or any of your agreements??

I would think if the Turbo crew own the footage (3rd party company) they can do whatever they want with it? They just on-sell it to the media? Do correct me if I'm wrong though I'm not sure on the arrangements.

And Turbo do you rely on phone calls a little more now that you can't listen in?

No we are contracted by the stations -we dont sell the footage, they already paid for it.

Dont think we can put any on youtube as I think that is still considered to be broadcasting it. Bit of a gray area. Will find out soon.

EDIT: Always appreciate phone calls yorky - I assume they are gonna be a lot more valuable now...

We do. Trust me, someone broke off my passenger side wing mirror yesterday between 1.45pm and 5.30 pm while I was at work. No unfortunately crime is still around!

No we are not freelance.

A freelance is a person who films then tries to sell the footage - like I said, we are contracted.

Tonights news includes a cab driver attacked and new speed cameras to come in. Also a driver that got a chip packet thrown at them, attempted to run someone over and ended up crashing there car.
