Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. No matter where you go in life there will always be people who think differently to you.

There's nothing that can be done about this; so it's best if we all just try and play fair and be happy together.

Now now. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, after all this is what a discussion board is about. Lets get away from playing the man and start playing the ball. It's fine to disagree but lets all go about it in an agreeable manner.

Yes its a discussion board but it should be about something we all enjoy doing.... Unfortunately of late it has become out of hand....

The forum is about scanning..... Not laws, Not Police Policy's, not Personal Experiences with Police. People should remember that.... There are people here that know alot about Police which I think is good that they have that interest.

Unfortunately there are also people here who appear to think they know everyhting but actually know nothing....

So lets get back to what this Forum was made for SCANNING.

If people have a problem with Police it should be done through the appropriate channels not here....

This is your description of the WA POLICE Section....... Perhaps that should be changed.

That's fair. The WA Police section is all about scanning the WA Police radio - VKI.

General discussion about law etc should go to the General forum, where it will be on topic and a way for all of us to share our views and even - gasp - learn something

Last I looked, General lives under "Tech Chat". Guess theres no place for discussion on it here.

And incidentally, as alot of what people listen to is governed by police policy and the law, it IS completely relevant to discuss such things.

It's funny how arguments always end like this, when a couple of people take exception to being disagreed with..

I agree. Listening to the police on the scanner is really police policy in action...

I believe listening to the Police Scanner is something you should all enjoy while you can....

Hehe. We can agree on that... Although I'm actually looking forward to just what country cops I can receive with my 8 element Yagis now that Perth channels won't be clobbering over them.

You won't hear many country cops as most jobs are done by phone... So it won't be very exciting
