Re: Speed Camera's
I'm sick of getting stuck in 90km/h traffic on the 100km/h zone of the Tonkin highway, and seeing people slamming on their brakes, only to find one of these sitting on the side of the road, when we are already doing 10 km/h below, only to get passed it and every one going 100km/h, if your not doing any where close to being 5km/h over, what's the need to brake, only to back traffic up to kewdale rd.

Re: Speed Camera's
You have to wonder why people think that braking will help.. the speed trap has already seen you. Slowing to 10 or 20 under the limit doesn't cancel out whatever you were doing before.

Re: Speed Camera's
Not really, the newer laser cameras have a smaller broadcast range or more pin point, that's what renders radar detectors useless, because it doesn't pick up the signal until your with in its range and by then its got you.

Re: Speed Camera's
No im not
Because if you see it before your on top if it, you have time to slow down
It can only get you once your on top of it, because its Laser, and the range has been reduced over the old KA band
Looking at the manual, their is also rules for rejecting a photo
This photo is not valid because neither the Front wheel, and the number plate is in the template

Re: Speed Camera's
Your joking right?
You are going to have an awful hard time to sway the police and or the magistrate that this photo 'is not valid' and reading the rules that AE posted below.
Boils down to that you were speeding and were caught, fair enough, cop it, pay the fine, move on and learn!

Re: Speed Camera's
Not really, the manual states the photo is not valid, for what ever reason i Dont know, camera not set up properly, could alter the readings, i Dont know.
But it quite clearly states that the photo should be rejected.

Well you learn something every day.... Now wait for someone to put a rubber skirt around the wheels so they aren't visible...
