Seen a speed camera in the rear of VW van on Karrinyup rd tonight.Are these new?

Now I'm sure we know what he means, and yes they are new, the first was shown on the news a month or two ago. A follow up has stated that several more will be rolled out.
They are normal cameras in a modified van with clear rear door to protect the camera and operator and don't need to be packed an unpacked at each location.
