Academy Open Day 2011

Came across this on the WAPOL website - Didn't see it mentioned elsewhere..
"A recruit open day and free family concert will be held at the WA Police Academy in Joondalup on Saturday 2 April."

Appreciate that, not this week but the next not far away!
Not many hours in the day though, the last one(2007?) went almost all day

2.5 Hours to see the Academy doesn't seem to be a lot of time :/
Helping a friend move that day but will see if I can pop up there to take a look.

An interesting tid bit is the officer in the concept car said the vehicle was not operational.

Yeah - the Sergeant who was looking after it was giving a run down to two other police officers just on dusk that I was having a listen to. Apparently there was no change from a hundred grand for that car. I must say, I was impressed by the operation and console. If they get even a few of those cars, perhaps for district supervisors or something like that, it'd be worth it.
