Kind of silly, really. The required beep test level is not really matched to the job duties..

On a slightly different topic, Heard the other day that the Custodial officers are going to be made redundant because the auxillarys will be taking over... Apparently they were told that if they wanted they could pretty much just "Transfer" accross, but they have all be told that will now need to apply as normal with everyone else....

Second that NT Police have had Police Auxillary staff for a while. As said before have personally seen them at the Watch house, in comms and various admin duties (including front counter work, police shop fronts in shopping centres) throughout the NT.
