Yes it was on Nine news tonight, they had their chopper there doing a live cross from the scene, you pretty much summed up what happened, I think they are looking for the person who was driving the vehicle but they aren't sure who it was yet.

There was a few witnesses so hopefully the police will catch the person responsible.

Some people are just sick in the head...

Could be more to it

Hi,

Not being a frequent poster. Still, I heard the VKI dispatches regarding this. Sounded that they "thought it was more to it"and they used mobiles instead of radio. I know now thay are looking for two males in a red Toyota twin cab. Earlier yesterday afternoon, there was a dispatch asking for a lookout to be kept for a red twin cab Toyota with two skinheads, who were said to have thrown an explosive device out of the car window under the Roe Highway bridge on Kwinana freeway. They were taking the Beliar drive offramp heading west. VKI asked for ?? to intercept if possible. A coincidence perhaps?
Hope they catch them!
Cheers,
Tom

Was that the cause of the 3rd alarm fire I heard on the radio and saw the smoke of?

He got done for drink driving some time ago - this charge was dangerous driving causing death. If you'd bothered to listen, you'd know that! Found not guilty by a jury - cant get a fairer judgement than that. If he wasnt driving in a dangerous manner and you couldnt have reasonably expected anyone else to have avoided the accident either, then...

We've heard the facts about him, but what begs the question too, and what NEVER gets mentioned in these cases - what was she doing riding through traffic like that in an 80kph zone AND 50m from traffic lights?

And no, I *dont* condone drink driving at all - but we all make mistakes.. this poor guy has one huge one to live with and will never know (nor will we) if things would have been any different if he hadnt had a drink..

There MUST have been a reason she was there, Or else she wouldn't have done it.

I kind of agree with the point Fastlane is making. Since I wasn't actually in court to hear the full story I wouldn't go judging.
Even the girls' parents seemed neither one way or the other about the judgement the guy received, and he has to live with his mistake for the rest of his life.
Also the girl was riding home from school I think, but I agree its a dangerous place for a child to be on a bike.

RE: What was she doing there?

She was crossing the road behind a boy on a bike aswell, the drunk driver admitted he saw the boy but not the girl that followed him onto the road.

Kids often cross the road where it's convenient for them to do so despite the dangers and parents advice to cross at lights or school crossings, just watch them outside any school at home time.

He apparently has since given up drinking alcohol.

If only he had not driven under the influence of half a carton of beer, which begs me to ask the question how is this not considered driving dangerously, alas the jury has aquitted him and thats that.

RE : Girl killed in munster

Kill a girl, drive off without even stopping to assist, call an ambulance or reporting the accident and his father is a cop. What the?

The only positive is that she apparently died instantly and he will live with the fact that he's a coward and a child killer for the rest of his life. If he has any remorse at all.

Just wait till the boys inside get hold of him and give him the cheshire grin.

I hope they through the book at the bastard and that he rots inside for quite a while.
