WA Radio Scanner Users' Group

Does anyone know if the Tasers on issue to WAPOL are personal issue ie: one taser stays with one officer for their use only. Here in NSW we have just been granted funding and a statewide rollout of tasers commences next month, but I am told that while each officer will have one each shift, the tasers will be attached to the station rather than the officer, and will be signed out by off going/oncoming crews. Is this how WAPOL does it or does each officer have their own taser?

Each taser is issued to the station and remains in the station for all officers to use.
