Long time reader first time poster here.

Just put my application in last Monday, been told it's about 3 weeks until get confirmation that my application has been accepted.

Although I probably should have asked when I was there, do I then get advised what the next steps are e.g exam ?

Ok, glad i found this forum. We were told we were lucky to have applied when we did as they are taking in extra squads or something like that (that was on the realistic job preview) anyway i have done my final medical and finger prints etc etc etc last week...how long do you guys reckon I'll have to wait to get a responce? the sergeant said we'll most likely be on the May squad (providing we didn't waste any time doing the final stuff) how much notice do we get? ( i need to organise day care and stuff like that)
I'd really appreciate some answers

Thanks... I got told most likely April 26 school if not definitely may

thank to your post before I called the recruitment office To check if they got my drug test and they didn't so I sorted it out right there and then. Luckily it was only a week.

another annoying question for those who have been trough the process. After we do the final medical, dna, etc, etc etc, we have to pass a final physical while we are in the pool before being assigned a squad? Cos they didn't tell us that at the RJP.

oh, oh and i forgot...I didn't get a selection pool letter but i did get an email from police recruiting smail
