Unmarked Astra

Post by westernwedgey »

Travelling down the freeway on Monday just south of Greenwood Station was a silver unmarked Astra that had pulled over a 4wd tradie.

LED's in the back window looked bigger than the trade mark LED bars usually seen on a parcel shelf, and LED's in the front up near the sunvisor/rear view mirror.

You'll find there are unmarked WRX vehicles as well.

Dark tint to protect the bad guys in the back from the paparazzi I reckon.

Not allowed to tint your front windows doesn't sound right.
Maybe not allowed to tint them past a certain level, but surely they can't say no tinting at all??

I think people have there wires crossed. What Richard may mean is the rear *sides* are tinted but not the front *sides*.

Others are maybe thinking the windscreen itself? Which of course can't be tinted (except the top bit).

The limit is the top 20% or something there abouts.

saw a unmarked black Astra on Horie Miller this morning

Had LED Lights, on each side of the number plate on rear, and the same on the front, in a long thin style, made to look like a numberplate brackets, however when powered up turn into deadly red and blues

I was driving to work, and as he had finished with the car in question, i didn't want to fall victim to his next target, while attempting to take a photo while driving on my phone...
