You mean they are buying new ones. Most of the VW Vans they have are older than you would like to think an operational Ambulance would be.

I thought ALAS was an ex ambo who went out on his own? Did he get brought out by someone? I know the ex ambo who was running a non-urgent transport service out of Hollywood was brought out by Wilsons.

ALAS in the same boat??

When in Geraldton I observed TM103 and TM104 towing a trailer each. 2 horses were in each of the trailers. Also noted the two horses from TM103 on patrol down Cathedral Avenue. Didn't have the scanner at the time but would imagine they called in as TM8nn (8 being the number for beat officers).

Also noted other vehicles - posted them in the Country Cars thread.

Saw TE209 and TE211 along with the booze bus last night on Rockingham road southbound at roughly 1800. I thought TE209 had spots but yeah, seems to be a lot of SV6's coming into the line up :D .

Saw four vehicles today.

ZM107, GS103 and YN103 - all Falcon secure paddy wagons with GDBL
One other sedan marked like a UQ vehicle but travelling between Northam and Meckering heading west. Missed the callsign.

TG103 is an Unmarked 4-wheel drive Crime Car...

They were lucky enough to be passing by just after VKI announced a job for a naked male in the middle of Perth the other night.

Hehe, you can't help but wonder how they keep a straight a face while dealing with that situation. Naturally he asked VKI if there were any vans who could assist and take the fella.

I have seen the booze bus 3 times in the last week (twice in Kwinana and once in Bently) each time having TE211 with them . Is it just a coincidence or is TE211 always assigned to help the booze bus?

JG-103,

TE209-211 are assigned to the Booze-buses as they are the only TE cars that have tow-bars fitted for hauling the trailers with the big orange LED arrows (roadworks type) on that we set-up prior to the booze-buses.

I think TE207 also may be used from time to time.

I was just going to post I saw TE207 today, it is in standard markings but has 0.05 on the rear side. And OV101 also seen on St George Tce. Yesterday there were two ROG cars tailing the Prosh parade or whatever the mob walking down the Terrace were.

Also - TK-109 chased this Holden Camira through the tunnel last nite heading towards the Casino - for speeding, the Camira nearly hit me - TK-109 pulled him up on the left - like a huge emergency lane..... Serves this guy right for speeding in the Tunnel
